I understand and agree that submitting this application does not automatically register me as Pet OverPopulation Prevention volunteer, and that there may be certain qualifications I must meet, including the acceptance of established volunteer policies and procedures before I may begin volunteering.

By submitting this form, I attest that the information I have provided an the form is true and accurate.

If offered a position as a volunteer of Pet OverPopulation Prevention, I agree to the Following terms, conditions, and understandings.

Terms and conditions:
1. My services to POPP are provided strictly in a voluntary capacity as a volunteer, and without any express or implied promise of salary, compensation, or other payment of any kind whatsoever.
2. My services are furnished without any employment-type benefits, including employment insurance programs, worker’s compensation accrual in any form, vacations, or sick time.
3. I will familiarize myself and comply with POPP’s General Policies and Procedures.
4. I will not represent POPP outside my immediate volunteer capacity. I understand that POPP has designated individuals to represent POPP to to media organizations.
5. I understand that POPP may terminate my services as a volunteer at any time, as deemed appropriate by the POPP Board of Directors.
6. I have read and understand POPP’s social media policy found in POPP’s General Policies and Procedures. I agree to abide this policy in my capacity as a volunteer.
7. I understand that if I volunteer at the Spay & Neuter Clinic that I will be exposed to blood, urine, feces, other animal bodily fluids.

Release:
I understand that the handling of cats and dogs and other volunteer activities on behalf of POPP could result in injury to me or my personal property. On behalf of myself, my heirs, personal representees and assigns, I hereby release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless POPP and it’s directors, officers, employees, adoption partners (such as PetSmart and PetCo), and agents from any and all claims, causes of action, and demands of any nature, whether known or unknown, arising out of or in connection with my volunteer activities on behalf of POPP.
