Pet Overpopulation Prevention’s Pet Photo Contest and 2027 Calendar Winners

What is POPParazzi

Our first annual POPParazzi fundraiser was a great success! POPParazzi is a pet photo contest that supports Pet Overpopulation Prevention (POPP). Participants helped raise money for POPP by entering photos of their beloved pets and voting for their favorites. We asked for cute pets and the public did not disappoint! With 49 entries, there was some tough competition, but it was your votes that determined which pets were deserving of being crowned a winner.

The winners of the contest get to be the featured month images in the 2027 POPP calendar! The winners also receive a professional pet photoshoot from Breshears Professional Photography. Calendars are now available for purchase, arriving in December and just in time to make a unique Christmas gift for the pet lovers in your life!

How POPParazzi Supports Pet Overpopulation Prevention

POPP is dedicated to promoting responsible pet care and preventing unwanted litters of kittens and puppies in our community. Our low-cost spay and neuter clinic, located at 1506 N. Road 40 in Pasco, WA, serves an urgent community need and works with area animal shelters, foster programs and TNR groups. Through spay and neuter programs, the number of healthy, adoptable animals that are euthanized as a means of population control can be greatly reduced.

POPParazzi is one of our fundraisers that keeps us going! The funding pays for medical supplies, our spay and neuter clinic’s staff, the treatment of animals in our foster program, the discounted pricing for those who need extra help getting their pets spayed/neutered, and more.

POPParazzi raised more than $6,000 for POPP.

If you’re interested in getting involved with POPP, check out our volunteering opportunities.

You can become a POPP foster! POPP will provide all supplies for you to foster; this includes food, medication, vet visits, and even training if needed. All you need is spare time, spare room, and a love for animals.

Consider donating to POPP! Your donation can cover a family who otherwise could not afford to spay/neuter their pet, cover a pet’s adoption fee to reduce adoption barriers, or support our general fund and POPP’s overall mission to use non-lethal methods to address pet overpopulation in the Tri-Cities area.
