A Spotlight on an Adoptable Cat Mother-Daughter Duo, Daisy and Little Missy
Little Missy and Daisy’s story is one of quiet charm. Surrendered to POPP in 2025 from a home that could no longer care for them, this mother-daughter pair has been patiently waiting for a fresh start. Daisy, born when Little Missy was just about a year old, has watched her siblings find their forever homes. Now, it’s her and her mom’s turn.
These two are the definition of gentle souls. They take their time getting to know new people and prefer to build trust at their own pace. Daisy is a bit more adventurous, occasionally accepting pets and attention, while Little Missy prefers to observe first. What makes them special is their calm, kind nature: they meet the world with wonder, not frustration.
They are so curious! Whether you’re working, reading, or just moving about your day, you’ll likely find them nearby, quietly observing and “helping.” Little Missy, in particular, has a clever streak. She’s been known to open cabinets and even sliding doors in her quest to explore. Little Missy is also quite the conversationalist, happily chatting to let you know what she needs or where she’d like to go. Both cats are wonderful communicators in their own way, expressing themselves with honesty and sweetness.
They also have a playful side that shines in the right moments. Daisy loves batting around pom-pom toys and wrestling with her favorite pickle kick toy, while Little Missy sticks to the classics with her beloved mouse toys. Together, they enjoy playful chases and games that bring out their kitten-like energy.

These girls are seeking a calm and understanding home where they can truly blossom. They may not be lap cats, but they offer something just as meaningful: quiet companionship, trust built over time, and the joy of earning the affection of two thoughtful, sensitive cats.
They can be adopted together or separately, though they share a special bond that could make staying together a beautiful option.
Little Missy and Daisy are a reminder that love comes in many forms, and sometimes, the quietest connections are the most rewarding.
